Sr Systems Engineer (SLDC)

Airswift is seeking for Sr Systems Engineer (Corporate Solutions) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.


QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering/Business field.
  • Trained and preferably certified as PMP.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the entire project life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
  • Possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, enabling effective management of vendor and facilitating the acquisition of necessary resources.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations of bids received, allowing for informed decision-making during the selection process.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user requirements, and prepares feasibility/business case reports and technical requirements documents to make sure that IT projects are delivered according to organization’s business needs and approved budget.
  • Identify user requirements, create scope of work, draft functional requirements, Design, implement, and deploy IT business solutions.
  • Identifying and managing risks associated with a project.

    This includes the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any changes.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Implementing diverse corporate solutions to meet specific business need.
  • Applying Agile methodology to enhance project flexibility and responsiveness to evolving requirements.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical staff.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of software procurement procedures, requirements/systems analysis, tendering procedures, vendor's negotiation, Software
  • Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information Security requirements.
  • Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision making skills and team player with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level design document
